Role Title: Casual Hours Driver

Contract Type: Hourly Paid, Casual Work
Salary: £12.14 per hour
Coleg Cambria are now searching for a number of Casual Hours Mini Bus Drivers to join their Estates and Facilities team from September 2024. As a Casual Hours Minibus Driver at Coleg Cambria you will drive College vehicles transporting staff, students and others as and when required. The College does have trips across the week including some less regular early morning, evenings and weekends throughout the year. You may also be requested to collect, transport and deliver items and materials from various locations in the College van or the electric mail van, ensuring measures are taken to prevent any damage. It will be your responsibility to ensure reasonable measures are taken to safeguard passengers at all times and conduct checks and visual inspections of vehicles to ensure road worthy condition prior to use. You will drive in a legal and safe fashion at all times as well as complying with College processes and procedures.
Essential Requirements
1. A full, clean UK driving licence with D1 is prerequisite for this role
2. A D1+E drivers licence is highly desirable for this vacancy
3. It is essential that you have proven previous experience of driving mini buses (Drivers will also be required to complete MIDAS training)
4. Able to demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills.
5. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
6. Self motivated, well organised and able to work independently using own initiative
7. Basic IT literacy and willingness to learn to enable communication about driving duties, to enable claims for Pay and Expenses and undertake mandatory online training
