HSE Inspector/Advisor Position Location: Chester Job Type: Full-time Responsibilities: Monitor and respond promptly to any workplace incidents or occupational health issues on-site. Support site management by conducting initial investigations into incidents and compiling detailed reports using company-standard documentation. Develop and submit remedial action reports following incidents to mitigate future risks. Identify potential hazards and evaluate risks, ensuring all mitigation measures are properly documented and managed. Deliver health and safety training sessions based on identified risks and maintain accurate training records. Prepare and submit health and safety observation reports to the Site HSE Manager. Collaborate with site managers to implement corrective actions and track improvements following audits. Participate in and oversee daily task briefings to ensure workers are fully informed of safety protocols. Ensure strict adherence to site-specific work permit requirements. Work alongside colleagues at all levels to maintain compliance with UK health and safety legislation, regulations, and standards. Qualifications: NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent HSE certification is required. Must possess a valid CSCS card. Strong knowledge of current health and safety legislation and its practical application. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills. A valid first aid certification is preferred. Available to work Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
