Job Purpose
To lead and develop the new business team, ensuring the achievement of sales targets and the development of a robust sales pipeline. This role involves setting clear objectives, tracking performance, and providing regular feedback to team members.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead, mentor, and motivate the new business team to achieve monthly sales target
2. Set clear sales objectives, measure progress, and provide constructive feedback to team members
3. Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring a minimum of 25 active opportunities per team member
4. Generate and qualify leads based on Depot Areas
5. Track and manage pipeline activities in Excel (for now)
6. Ensure daily tracking and reporting of actuals vs. targets
7. Set KPIs for the business daily and build reports to track PPL evolution and KPIs
8. Report new business pipeline twice weekly
9. Ensure team can measurably demonstrate progress month-on-month
10. Regularly report sales performance to senior management, highlighting successes and challenges
