Job Overview: The role is for a Senior Architectural Engineer with responsibility of the architectural design and procurement of Process Buildings for LNG projects. The successful candidate should be able to work independently within a larger Civil and Structural team or also working as a single point of reference for Architectural Design and Procurement including interfaces with suppliers and fabrication/construction. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities: work as a Architectural Engineer to produce FEED and Detailed Designs Anticipate problems and identify alternative innovative solutions to avoid potential problems. Able to solve complex problems, uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative solutions. Able to work independently Liaise with a team of engineers and designers in multiple global locations Provide regular reporting of progress and early identification of potential delays. Manage and direct subcontractor and supplier interfaces with due diligence (i.e.) document transfers, meetings etc. Contribute to project, corporate and external safety reviews Knowledge and experience in working with project disciplines leads and engineers Adept in Architectural Engineering, material selection and construction management. Extensive knowledge and working experience in Specification writing Planning / Building Regulatory and Fire Codes (BS 476, NFPA etc.) expertise. Knowledge of Interior Design: Ergonomics & Acoustics Materials, Fittings & Equipment Specification. Performs the role of modelling coordination with other disciplines. Ability to interpret and prepare technical specification. Ability and skills to start and become immediately independent. On a technical level the successful candidate should be able to: PMC Architectural Engineering and designs/deliverables guidance on key construction matters. Project general arrangement, concept design drawings and documentation for detailed Vendor project engineering. Supporting and liaise with the other PMT Engineering Disciplines and Construction teams. Interface with Engineering and other functions to complete Project in accordance with Company & International Standards and requirements. Coordinate the Architectural design & Monitor quality control effort. Knowledge of fittings and fixtures suitable for use in a construction / industrial environment Coordinating the Architectural aspects of the project to ensure the technical objectives are met within the approved scope, budget, and schedule. PMC Monitoring performance and providing advice to ensure Company's design philosophy and specifications are achieved. Prepare Architectural design input and making recommendations to Engineering & Construction. Providing technical support and advice to project procurement & construction activities. Carry out, check architectural engineering work for Process Buildings. Preparation of technical documents for Architectural Scope Procurement Review bids and provide detailed bid analysis Manage ongoing Supplier document reviews, clarifications and queries. Qualifications: Has developed specialized depth and breadth in knowledge/skills in Architectural Design for Process Buildings and the implications of design on Fabrication and Construction Typically, has a Degree or Professional Diploma in Architecture and is proficient at producing design and engineering documents Membership of an associated professional body Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in an architectural/engineering environment This experience should ideally spread to all design phases of project delivery, from Concept and FEED design through Detail Design and Fabrication / Construction support. Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve technology, processes and services. Motivated to complete tasks correctly and ahead of schedule Good written, verbal and interpersonal skills to interface with other project team members Strong professional ethics Stable job history, ability to work in a team environment Must be familiar with AutoCad. PDMS and S3D would be beneficial
