Manage a team of shift engineers, day and night
Check quality of work over
Allocate members of the team to specific jobs
Manage and check the service, maintenance & repairs on a range of electrical and building services equipment
PPMS & Reactive works
Effectively communicate to the team on any tasks that may have a critical or business
Utilisation of the mobile working device, ensuring that all times are captured correctly for each task, alongside providing detailed notes in the comments section
To act as an escort/guide/supervisor for any contractors coming to site.
Approve quotes for materials needed for the engineers on site.
Ensure that all maintenance tasks that are carried out to all building plant, equipment and systems, meet and exceed expectations, and agreed service level agreements.
Identify any issues when required on fabric issues, electrical systems, heating, ventilation and air conditioning issues.
Managing and maintain stock levels of materials etc.
To undertake an AP/CP role, following suitable training within the relevant trade discipline.
Plant areas, workshops, stores, changing/rest areas etc. are kept to the highest level of housekeeping
Physical Fitness, with the ability to lift 20kg through manual handling
A high level of initiative, in ensuring that proactive maintenance is undertaken or supported
A smart presentable uniformed appearance, with presenting in a professional manner
Advanced communication skills with a full understanding of customer needs & expectations
Ability to comprehend and act upon both verbal and written instructions What you'll need to succeed
Able to communicate effectively to colleagues, client representatives and key stakeholders
To behave in a professional manner always
Ability to respond quickly and effectively to client requirements
To have a good understanding of key personnel of the client staff
To have a good knowledge of safe systems of work
To have basic IT skills, (Web Quote, E Mail, CAFM, PDA etc).
To have a minimum of City and Guilds (or NVQ) at Level 3, within a Electrical qualification
To have served an apprenticeship within the Electrical trade
