Salary Scale: £185 - £265 per day (Depending on experience)
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher to join one of our reputable client schools in Newham. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to varying levels of ability, monitoring progress, and supporting students to achieve their full potential. As a Maths Teacher, you will inspire students to explore the subject with enthusiasm, fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of mathematics.
Responsibilities of a Maths Teacher:
Prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting a positive learning atmosphere.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work and share best practices.
Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Required Qualifications for a Maths Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
A strong academic background in Mathematics.
Proven experience teaching Maths to KS3 and KS4 students, with KS5 being desirable.
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate learners.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
