We have embarked on an exciting and industry-defining journey to grow our UK Media Team by bringing in-house a significant proportion of our media planning and buying capability.
Our Planning Manager role offers a unique opportunity to join this team, working on some of the biggest media budgets in the UK, building a legacy for our brands and organisation. Our ambition is to bring media even closer to our consumers to maximise return and allow us to innovate in real time.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
As a Planning Manager you will be responsible for:
1. Leading the creation of strong and consistent media strategies across all media touch points (TV, digital etc.)
2. Delivering and adapting these strategies according to business objectives and allocated budgets, with consideration for key consumer insights and market trends.
3. Managing multi-million £ budgets, planning within all internal guidelines and controls.
4. Co-ordinating P&G/agency media teams to ensure perfect implementation of media strategies across touchpoints and working hand-in-hand with the P&G digital activation team to ensure digital excellence.
5. Building and managing relationships with external media vendors.
6. Coaching and developing the Planning Executive on your team.
7. Driving innovation to remain ahead of the competition, connecting externally to stay in-touch with the latest trends.
8. Working closely with multiple stakeholders (Media, Trial, Analytics & Insights) and external partners to deliver a consumer-centric plans.

Head Office Location: This role is based in our UK Head Office in Weybridge, Surrey which is an easy commute from London with regular trains from Waterloo and a free shuttle service from the station to the office. There is free on-site parking with access to dedicated electric vehicle charging points. There is also an on-site Costa Coffee, discounted restaurant for breakfast and lunch and a state-of-the-art gym facility.
Flexibility : We operate a flex at work approach, with flexibility built into the role. Our UK Media Team spend 3 days of their week collaborating together in our offices or at our external partners or customers. This is balanced with 2 of their days spent on focused work which most tend to do from home. Of course, we do a bit of both every day, but we encourage our teams to choose where they work based on the jobs to be done.

Job Qualifications
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU…
9. Have proven experience in strategic media planning across all digital and AV touch points in a media agency or in-house environment managing large budgets.
10. Hold excellent knowledge of the UK media landscape and put the consumer experience at the heart of activities and decisions.
11. Are a proactive and business minded leader with excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, able to build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders to drive action.
12. Can demonstrate strong strategic and analytical thinking to assess and recommend opportunities.
13. Have experience or a strong passion for managing or coaching Executive level employees.
14. Have mastery with media planning tools such as TGI and GWI as well as Microsoft Office package.
15. Experience with Consumer-Packaged Goods companies may be helpful but is not essential.
