Support young children's early learning and development in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support day-to-day activities in the nursery, including play, learning, and meal times.
* Assist in planning and delivery of activities promoting children's physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development.
* Ensure health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care.
* Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging confidence and independence.
* Work collaboratively with nursery staff and teachers to maintain a supportive and inclusive environment.
* Assist with preparation and tidying of the nursery or classroom, ensuring a clean and organised space.
* Observe and monitor children's progress, contributing to records and reports as needed.
* Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing updates on their child's development and well-being.
Requirements:
* Experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting is highly desirable.
* A caring, patient, and nurturing approach to supporting children's development.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* An understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework is advantageous.
* Relevant childcare qualifications (such as NVQ Level 2 or 3) are beneficial but not essential.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
