OVERVIEW
Job Title: Project Coordinator
Location: Warrington / Cumbria, 2 / 3 days per week on site with travel to opposite site potentially once per month
Role Responsibilities:
The role is part of the PPP support to the Digital portfolio of projects within Sellafield. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the organisation and coordination of the Digital Project teams.
Main duties include:
• Support the organisation and coordination of the Digital project team:
o Support the development and maintenance of project library, filing, recording and reporting systems.
o Provide secretariat support to the Digital project team, providing clear and concise minutes, action and decision tracking.
o Provide support to the Digital centralised mailbox
o Support the provision of operational direction, guidance to multi-disciplinary teams (client, KBR and other Lot Partners).
o Support the allocation of project work in line with team objectives and individual capabilities.
o Assist in the monitoring of quality and performance against agreed criteria to make learning recommendations or to escalate concerns.
o Facilitates effective working relationships between team members.
o Develop and support effective communication between project teams
• Support the establishment, monitoring and delivery to agreed outcomes, including:
o Support to the definition, documentation and execution of small projects or sub-projects.
o Support the development and agreement of project approaches with stakeholders.
o Support the preparation of realistic project plans (including scope, schedule, quality, risk and communication plans).
o Support the tracking of activities against the project schedule, managing stakeholder involvement as appropriate.
o Assist in the identification, assessment and management of risks effectively.
o Assist in the engagement with delivery teams to ensure correct products are produced in a timely fashion.
o Assist in the creation and delivery of standard reports in accordance with stakeholder needs and agreed standards.
o Assist in the monitoring of cost, time, quality and resources used and take action where these exceed agreed tolerances.
o Apply appropriate project management methods and tools.
• Assist in ensuring that the Digital project supports the organisation’s wider goals:
o Assist in understanding client requirements, collecting data, delivering analysis and problem resolution.
o Assist in addressing client needs and implement solutions.
o Assist in identifying measures and mechanisms to measure benefits and plans to activate these mechanisms at the required time.
o Assist in monitoring benefits.
Specific:
The Project Coordinator works closely with the Deputy Digital Delivery Lead and project managers to ensure that the projects are delivered on time, scope and budget. This support is multi-faceted and will change over the life of the project. The Project Coordinator will support all members of the team and will work to build relationships with external stakeholders.
