Our client, a Catering & Events Venue based near Cobham, Surrey, is currently looking to recruit a full-time Catering & Hospitality Manager.
The successful Catering & Hospitality Manager will be responsible for the teams delivering the site's critical customer-facing activities and income streams. Overseeing and ensuring all catering and hospitality services are well organised, efficient and delivered according to their high standards.

The Catering & Hospitality Manager role will be responsible for ensuring:
*All hospitality services, outlets and events consistently demonstrate the client at their best, in terms of hygiene, quality of food and presentation at all times
*Revenue and growth are maximised within the department
*All elements of the catering operation comply with relevant H&S, food safety, hygiene, allergen and labelling requirements to maintain our current five-star hygiene rating
*Staff scheduling completed in a timely manner, ensuring adequate staffing levels with minimal agency usage
*Effective People Leadership demonstrated on a daily basis
Knowledge & Experience needed for the Catering & Hospitality
Manager role:
* Understanding and experience of the production and service of fresh, high-quality food and drink
* Experience working in a high-volume, fast paced environment
* Demonstrable appreciation of customer expectations and commercial demands
* Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail in service delivery and paperwork
* Experience leading a catering and hospitality function for large events with multiple outlets
* Demonstrable experience of thinking on your feet, taking initiative and problem solving in a pressurised environment
* Clear understanding and adherence to Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards
Skills & Competencies
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to adapt your approach.
*Self-motivated, strong people leader who can set clear direction and pace
*Ability to work confidently with tact and discretion
*Good attention to detail and accuracy
*Good numeracy & strong IT skills
*Possess drive and determination to improve standards and profitability
Hours:
40 hours per week on a 5 days out of 7 per week schedule.
