Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-1pm
We’re supporting our client, a global medical company based in Kington, who are looking for a New Projects Coordinator to join their growing team. The successful New Projects Coordinator will have experience of working in a manufacturing or engineering background, with experience of liaising with suppliers and/or customers.
Position Overview: As a New Projects Coordinator, you'll provide essential support to our Production teams and contribute to the smooth execution of new project introductions, liaising with the Operations Manager, Quality department and Managing Director.
Responsibilities for New Projects Coordinator:
* Liaison with customers and Production teams to review new projects
* Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for project materials / tools, etc
* Collation of information for RFQs (Request for Quotes)
* Creation and Update of all project BOM’s (Bills of Material)
* Creation and update of all Project SMV’s (Standard Minute Values)
* Assist with the compilation of project documents and technical drawings
* Support the manufacture of new project samples and prototypes
* Undertake investigations into new production techniques.
* Advise on the use of new equipment and production processes together with Maintenance Manager.
* Overseeing the start of manufacturing processes to ensure productivity and safety
* Provide general administrative support to the production teams
* Assist the management team on technical matters
About You:
* A manufacturing or engineering background
* Experience of liaising with suppliers/ customers
