Head Teacher’s Personal Assistant – Ashton-under-Lyne – ASAP
We are specifically working with a ‘Good’ secondary school in Ashton-under-Lyne, looking for a Personal Assistant for the Head Teacher, who are working exclusively with ourselves, to join ASAP, on an ongoing basis, likely to be for the rest of the term to cover sickness on a full-time basis.
The Head Teacher’s Personal Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Head Teacher in the effective management and administration of the school. This position requires a highly organized, proactive individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. You will need to maintain and manage the Head Teacher’s schedule, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and events. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient use of the Head Teacher’s time. Handle incoming emails, phone calls, and other communications directed to the Head Teacher.
This is a school that is ambitious with high standards that most of the students rise to, even when they are continuously increased. The students are incredibly hard working and have high attendance, showing how welcoming the environment of the school is. The students also have chances to get involved in extra curriculum activities: astronomy and retro games.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
10. Degree educated with a good classification (2:2).
11. Previous experience in a similar administrative role, preferably in an educational setting.
12. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
13. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
14. Previous experience working of working with young people (which we can reference).
15. Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided).
16. Up to date prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided).
17. Up to date behaviour management & FGM training in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided).
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
