I'm instructed with a wonderful vacancy for candidates with solidpany secretarial experience at an international organisation’s Newcastle office. My client is a marine and energy insurer and a member of the International Group of Protection and Indemnity clubs, and they are looking to recruit an Assistantpany Secretary who will work directly alongside and report to an experienced Grouppany Secretary.Candidates interested in this role will be expected to show ideally 3 years of hands-onpany secretarial experience in which end to end support along with excellent drafting and organisation skills will need to be demonstrated. This would be an excellent role for someone who currently holds or is working towards corporateernance /pany secretarial qualifications ( CGI).
More specifically, the duties of this role will involve assisting with the planning and delivery of meetings involving various stakeholder levels (a more specific list of duties can be provided upon request) and supporting the Grouppany Secretary andpany Secretary in relation to:
1. Corporate administration and filings;
2. Annual Board performance appraisals;
3. Succession/development planning activity;
4. Recruitment/induction/onboarding activity;
5. Assessment, recording and monitoring of Directors’ interests and the management of actual or potential conflicts of interest in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and policies;
6. Information requests from internal and external auditors; and
7. Management, drafting and updating of policies, procedures and controlled documents.
Any candidates with corporateernance experience within a regulated insurance or other financial services sector will be of particular interest, in addition to candidates with corporateernance experience within a mutual or non-profit organisation.My client is prepared to consider candidates with salary expectations between £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.
