Full-Time Year 1 Teaching Assistant – Primary School in Colne
A school located in Colne (BB8) are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our Year 1 class in a friendly primary school located in Colne (BB8). This full-time position will run from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, starting on 4th November and continuing until Christmas 2024, with the potential to extend into the new year.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the classroom teacher and enhancing the learning experience for our young students. You will be responsible for helping with small group work, providing one-to-one support where necessary, and assisting with general classroom activities. Additionally, your support will help foster a positive, engaging, and nurturing environment for the children.
We are seeking someone who is passionate about working with children, particularly those in Key Stage 1. Experience working with this age group would be ideal, though not essential, as a positive attitude, patience, and strong communication skills are our main priorities. The ability to work effectively as part of a team and a genuine interest in the well-being and progress of the children is key.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
