The role of Technical Sales Account Manager is a pivotal and key role in this ever-growing business. You will be responsible for building and managing relationships with new and existing clients, driving sales growth, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality automotive products and services. This role requires a blend of strong sales acumen, product knowledge, and the ability to manage accounts effectively.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in business development, account managing, meeting sales targets, and will thrive within a fast-paced environment. This will create a great opportunity for an individual who would like to progress their career, and grow within an already successful business.
Responsibilities of Technical Sales Account Manager:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts
Serve as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met and fostering long-term partnerships
Identify and target new business opportunities, leveraging market research and industry trends to generate leads
Develop and implement strategies to expand the client base and increase revenue within existing accounts
Analyse market trends, competitors and customer feedback for continuous improvement strategies
Attend key industry events and networking events regularly
Conduct sales demonstrations and hand over training to customers
Provide exceptional customer service, resolving any issues or concerns promptly
Manage stock and support shipping of products and equipment
Work closely with the technical and marketing team to ensure customers are being provided accurate information, tools and materials
The Ideal Candidate:
You must have technical understanding, and a passion for the automotive industry
Have a proven track record in sales or account management
Self-motivated, working to self-set KPI targets and goals
Confident, presenting a “can do” attitude
Be well presented, personable with the ability to build rapport and influence decision- makers
Commercially astute
Ambitious, enthusiastic, results-orientated with the desire to succeed and grow within a business
You can work well in a fast-paced, varied environment, under pressure, and to deadlines
