We are seeking a recent graduate with a passion for digital marketing and a self-driven attitude to join our team as a Digital Marketing Assistant. This individual will assist the Marketing Manager in executing and optimizing digital marketing strategies and play a key role in growing our digital presence. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, creative, and proficient in key digital marketing tools.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, based in our office in Derry, Northern Ireland. We have a hybrid working policy and the role will involve some remote working. Assist the Marketing Manager in developing and implementing digital marketing campaigns across various channels (social media, internet, email, etc.)
Support in crafting SEO-friendly content, including blog posts and social media updates
Create visually engaging content for digital marketing campaigns using Canva
Help manage and update the company website through WordPress
Conduct social listening to monitor and engage with online communities and brand mentions on social media platforms
Track and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns and suggest improvements
Assist in maintaining email marketing campaigns (building email lists, creating newsletters, tracking engagement, etc.)
Perform market research and competitor analysis to support the development of marketing strategies
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints
Maintain marketing data and performance metrics in Excel for analysis and reporting
Recent university graduate with a degree in Marketing or a related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience using Canva for content creation preferred
Familiarity with WordPress (or willingness to learn)
Good knowledge of SEO and digital marketing best practices
Experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, or other digital marketing tools
Familiarity with email marketing platforms like Mailchimp or Constant Contact
