Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work closely with a SEND pupil in Year 1 who is mainly non verbal in a mainstream Primary setting.
The needs of the child are still under diagnosis, however if you have worked with SEND children previously and have a nurturing and calm character this role would be ideal for you.
Equally a strong desire to work 1-1 with a child with SEND would be considered as the school can provide guidance and training.
The Role:
The role is to start in January 2024 in Twickenham.
You will support the pupil within the classroom, encouraging them to take part in activities and also helping to break down barriers to accessing the curriculum.
You will be working closely with the SENCO in ensuring a set and plan is in place for the pupil, reviewing this regularly.
Consistency and reliability are essential to ensure the child can build a trusting relationships and find a comfortable school environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
