The Role: Apprenticeship Trainer in Residential Childcare
As an Apprenticeship Trainer, you’ll play a vital role in helping apprentices develop the skills and confidence needed to excel in residential childcare. You’ll lead engaging, hands-on training sessions and provide essential support to nurture each apprentice’s journey.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver dynamic and impactful training sessions that equip apprentices with the skills needed to thrive.
- Design and customise training programmes to meet the needs of each learner.
- Assess apprentices’ progress, giving valuable feedback to guide their development.
- Keep all training materials up-to-date and aligned with current industry standards and regulations.
- Work closely with employers to foster apprentices’ on-the-job learning.
- Maintain accurate records of apprentices’ progress and celebrate their achievements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends to continually bring fresh insights to your training.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in residential childcare management (Essential).
- Recognised teaching or training qualification (Essential).
- Strong knowledge of apprenticeship standards in residential childcare (Essential).
- An inspirational approach with the ability to motivate and engage apprentices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for continuous improvement.
