Academics, a leading education recruitment agency, is looking for a dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to work in Mansfield, supporting a Year 8 pupil within a local Alternative Provision. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the life of a young learner.

As a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with a Year 8 pupil who is currently working at a KS1 level. Your support will be crucial in helping them engage with their learning, manage their behaviour, and build their confidence.

The role also involves:

1. Providing 1:1 learning support tailored to the pupil's individual needs.
2. Managing challenging behaviour effectively and maintaining a positive learning environment.
3. Supporting the pupil with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
4. Using creative strategies to enhance learning at a KS1 level.
5. Encouraging outdoor activities and supporting the pupil's development outside the classroom.
