This is a f ull-time role, working fixed day shifts, this role is a 40 hours per week contract, working Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings on a rota basis.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday to 5:30pm + Saturday 8:30am to ;
You must hold a full-valid driving licence for a minimum of 12 months, with no more than 9 points on your DVLA check.
Your Time at Work
As a Branch Manager, your duties include:
- Identifying and converting sales opportunities and motivating the team in upselling incremental products together with maximising opportunities for speciality product promotion.
- Managing all Thrifty processes to ensure branch costs are within acceptable parameters.
- Ensuring staff are fully trained in damage management and revenue protection ensuring costs are recovered from customers where appropriate.
- Working within Service Level Agreements to ensure excellence in customer service whilst maintaining excellent internal relationships with stakeholders.
- Ensuring the security of the branch and its assets in line with company procedures, reporting any risks or security events to the Security Manager as soon as possible.
- Managing your time proactively to ensure branch performance is on target

Our perfect Branch Manager will:
- Be a self-starter with a positive approach to team development and continuous improvement
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and lead by example
- Rental Management experience or transferable skills from the retail environment
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have administrative and computer skills (email, spreadsheets and an ability to learn/use in-house systems)

Experience in a similar role is required.
