FRS are recruiting an Accounts Assistant for a reputable SME based in Rugby.
Working as part of a friendly & welcoming finance team, you will be responsible for an array of finance duties, ensuring accuracy and good comms with colleagues across all levels of the business.
Suitable candidates will have 2-3 years’ relevant experience & not live too far from Rugby, ideally within a 30 minute commute. A salary band of £25,000 to £30,000 is attached!
Duties Will Include
* Managing the Sales and Purchase Ledger
* Accounts to trial balance
* Credit Control
* Checking, coding up and entering purchase Invoices / Returns onto the purchase ledger
* Banking information onto accounting system
* Reconciling supplier statements, making payments via BACS
* Dealing with copy invoices and supplier queries
* Reconciling site cash
* Monthly production of client sales invoices
* Undertaking any other tasks
Skills / Experience Required
* Experience using either Sage OR Xero is essential and MS Excel experience would be an advantage!
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
