Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Officer:
Work closely with the workforce to encourage active participation in health and safety initiatives.
Lead the investigation of incidents, compile reports, and implement safety improvements.
Conduct and review risk assessments, ensuring compliance with ISO 45001 and other HSE standards.
Ensure all operations meet regulatory safety standards and company policies.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal Health and Safety Officer candidate will have:
Gained experience within health and safety.
Proactive, results-driven, and passionate about driving safety culture.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence both shopfloor staff and senior management.
NEBOSH certificate or equivalent qualification is preferred but not essential.
