Job Title: Supply Teacher
Location: Wellingborough, Kettering, and Corby (Northamptonshire)
Contract Type: Flexible / Temporary
Salary: £120-£180 per day (depending on experience)
Job Description:
We are seeking passionate, adaptable, and reliable Supply Teachers to join our network of schools in Wellingborough, Kettering, and Corby. As a supply teacher, you will provide cover for absent teachers on a short- or long-term basis across a variety of subjects and age groups. This is a great opportunity for teachers who want flexibility, experience working in diverse school environments, and the chance to focus on teaching without the extra responsibilities of full-time roles.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality teaching across a range of subjects (depending on school needs)
* Follow lesson plans provided or, when necessary, create engaging lessons to inspire students
* Ensure the progress, well-being, and safety of all students
* Manage classroom behavior in line with the school’s policies
* Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth transitions between cover sessions
* Mark and assess students’ work as required during longer placements
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Previous teaching experience, ideally in UK schools
* Strong classroom management skills
* Flexibility and willingness to travel between schools in Wellingborough, Kettering, and Corby
* Excellent communication skills
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo a DBS check)
