We are seeking Research Associates to study large-to-small scale ionospheric irregularities by utilising new evidence from EISCAT_3D together with evidence from any other relevant datasets. Key responsibilities include:
• Investigating ionospheric irregularities using EISCAT_3D and other datasets
• Developing and applying new methods for analysing ionospheric data
• Collaborating with colleagues to advance understanding of ionospheric radio propagation
• Presenting research findings in academic publications and conferences
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in ionospheric radio propagation, working with a team of experienced researchers. The successful candidate will have a strong background in physics, mathematics, or a related field, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. The salary for this position is £37,999-£45,163.
