Design Engineer - New Build Housing
Leicestershire
£45,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience) + Bonus + Car allowance/car
Due to expansion in the team, my client a largely successful privately owned new build developer is looking for an experienced Engineer to join their well-established team based in Leicestershire.
Role and Responsibilities
* Create road and sewer designs, working with approving bodies to address engineering challenges.
* Prepare and coordinate detailed Section 38 and Section 104 designs, plus external levels and private drainage drawings.
* Assemble and deliver complete civil engineering packages to high standards.
* Obtain necessary Section 38, Section 104, and foundation design approvals, and ensure compliance with agreements.
* Assist with the discharge of engineering-related planning conditions.
* Coordinate maintenance inspections and manage bond releases for Section 38 and Section 104 agreements.
Skills and Experience
* Background with a housebuilder or consultancy, skilled in engineering design production.
* Experience within a housebuilder or consultancy is essential
* HNC in Civil Engineering or similar.
* In-depth understanding of Section 38, 104, and 278 agreements.
* Familiarity with Highway Design Standards
* Knowledge of Sewers for Adoption guidelines
* Skills in PDS design software, MicroDrainage design software, and AutoCAD
