Job Title: French Tutor
Location: East of England, Cambridgeshire-based Further Education provider
Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time
Salary: £22 – £22 Per hour + statutory holiday pay
Job Description
Job Duties:
1. Deliver engaging and interactive French lessons to students
2. Create lesson plans tailored to individual student needs
3. Assess student progress and provide feedback
4. Help students improve their French language skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing
5. Encourage a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Required Qualifications:
6. Fluency in French language
7. Previous experience in teaching or tutoring French
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
9. Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles
10. A relevant degree in French language
11. A teaching qualification
Experience:
12. Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring French
Knowledge and Skills:
13. Strong understanding of French grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation
14. Ability to motivate and inspire students
15. Organisational skills to plan lessons effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
16. Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent)
17. Experience working with students of different age groups
Working Conditions:
18. Delivering on Mondays for 10 weeks starting 23/09/2024
19. Session time: 18:45 – 20:45
