Sellick Partnership are currently assisting in the recruitment of an IT Manager for a public sector organisation based in North Shields. This is a permanent role.
Responsibilities of the IT Manager include:
* Responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users within the organisation
* Be the subject matter expert in in delivering 2nd Line support for IT incidents
* Management of up to 8 members of staff
* Monitor and manage requests for assistance ensuring they are properly logged, assigned, and responded to in a timely manner
* Streamline process and shift demand left to the ServiceDesk to reduce response and resolution times and enhance customer satisfaction
* Attend meetings and contribute to the assessment of business and service requirements and the design of the technical architecture for IT services
The ideal candidate will have:
* Extensive experience of maintaining information systems and security
* Experience of working in a technical environment
* Extensive experience of the process of integrating systems
