Your role
To provide an effective engineering service to the production team and respond to demands in a timely fashion. To maintain equipment both proactively and reactively to ensure factory performance meets targets and KPIs. To improve equipment availability and performance to meet OEE targets through identifying and implementing improvements.
To proactively use the PPM System in place (SAP) for the capture of all engineering labour and parts.
Hours of Work
4 on / 4 off Days / Nights 05:30 /17:30 / 05:30.
OR
PPM weekend shift 16:00 to 04:00 Week 1: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday Week 2: Saturday, Sunday, Monday
What you’ll need
1. NVQ level 3 or equivalent (Electrical).
2. Qualifications to be recognised in the UK.
3. Literacy/Numeracy to National Level 2 Standard.
4. Delivers quality and accuracy in own work and standards.
5. Able to cope under pressure and flex with peaks in personal workload.
6. Able to anticipate/identify problems and use available resources to provide effective solutions.
7. Able to act on decisions with the corresponding level of urgency.
8. Personal/Interpersonal Skills.
9. Good standard of written and spoken English.
10. Experience in a food processing industry is desirable.
11. Experience of poultry processing machinery is desirable.
12. Knowledge of lean techniques and processes.
13. Automated machinery experience is desirable.
14. Computer literacy.
15. 17th / 18th (or equivalent) Edition Qualified.
16. Industrial experience is desirable.
17. Knowledge of PLC systems, fault finding.
