The Role
As a Teacher of German and French, you will play an instrumental role in guiding students through their language-learning journey. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that encourage proficiency and enthusiasm for these languages. Your key responsibilities will include:
Teaching German and French across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of Key Stage 5.
Creating an Immersive Language Environment: Inspiring a genuine interest in language and culture through interactive and immersive teaching methods.
Tailoring Lessons: Addressing diverse learning needs and adapting materials to support all students in reaching their language goals.
Contributing to Curriculum Development: Working with the Modern Foreign Languages department to design innovative lessons and assessments.
What We’re Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in German and French.
Experience teaching both German and French, ideally with the ability to teach up to GCSE level (A-Level experience is a plus).
A passion for languages and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
A collaborative approach to working within a team of educators.
