We are partnered with a market leader in asset rental and sales in construction, who are going through a period of positive transformation following successful investment.
As one of the largest dealers in equipment rental and sales across the UK and Europe, they now need a proactive and dynamic Group Head of Operations to support the business growth and be a pivotal leader with a fresh approach.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coach and motivate the operational teams - aligning their delivery against health and safety, targets and quality.
* Drive operational performance within budget, maintaining excellent customer service and building a positive business culture.
* Review, enhance and develop strategic plans to improve operational performance.
* Build strong and sustainable relationships with stakeholders at all levels to promote effective collaboration across the group.
* Ensure that service standards are always delivered at levels of excellence.
* Promote a culture of high performance, clear communication and team-working.
* Full responsibility for fiscal performance and the P&L.
* Consult with clients, customers and colleagues - bringing solutions to challenges and keeping on track with the strategic plans.
* Upholding industry accreditations, including ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001.
* Adhering to and promoting all health and safety and compliance legislation.
To Be Successful:
* Experience leading operations in plant/material handling, logistics or M&E engineering preferred.
* Solutions focussed and proactive.
* Demonstrable experience leading and coaching multi-disciplinary teams.
* Flexibility to travel across sites.
* Values driven - an ambassador for EDI, excellent service and team working.
* Adaptable approach to work.
* Diplomatic communication style.
* Proven experience improving operational efficiencies in a growing and fast paced business.
In return - salary circa £70-80k, death in service, enhanced pension, wellbeing incentives and more.
