Please Note: This role will attract a 12% shift allowance.
1. Setting Ultrasonic Welding Machines: To set all types of ultrasonic welding machines, to achieve the correct sub-assembly component to the relevant specification in conjunction with company procedures.
2. Attention to Detail: Ensure the correct components are issued to the work station, inline with the relevant Bill of Materials.
3. Customer Focus: Follow machine loading plans to achieve on time deliveries to the customer.
4. Machine Maintenance: To be instrumental in maximising the machine availability, by restricting to a minimum the amount of down time.
5. Training: Carry out operator training to a standard that will allow the safe and efficient use of the equipment.
6. Document Management: To maintain all relevant company documentation, to maximise procedure control and product throughput, as well as proposing updates to Machine Setting Guides.
7. Quality: To carry out random sampling to support the departmental quality requirement.
8. Safety: To follow and adopt all relevant company procedures and carry out departmental housekeeping to ensure safe working conditions.

9. Embrace behavioural based safety and environmental adherence, focus on “see it, sort it, report it” methodology to deal with immediate safety concerns and proactively take ownership of personal safety and for the safety of colleagues.
10. Prioritise the Quality of process to ensure prevention of customer complaint.
11. Adhere to operation and machine specifications to ensure highest performance and production plan achievement.
12. Contribute to the implementation STAR2025 Strategy in collaboration with your Section Leader to drive improvement in all facets of the department and site.

Experience & Expertise
14. Demonstration experience in a production environment desired
