Senior Buyer Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to join our Procurement function. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing Procurement strategies for various categories, with a focus on indirects and creating synergies in acquisitions.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the implementation of a category procurement structure
* Developing and implementing Procurement strategies for relevant categories
* Identifying, developing, and delivering cost savings initiatives
* Becoming embedded in stakeholder areas to offer commercial support
* Negotiating contracts for renewals and new services
* Developing strong relationships with key suppliers to improve supplier performance
Requirements:
* Demonstrable experience within a Senior/Strategic Buyer role with strong working knowledge of procurement processes, strategic sourcing, and supplier management
* CIPS qualified/part qualified or willing to work towards this
* Able to interact with senior leaders to promote the benefit of procurement involvement
* Good working knowledge of IT packages including Microsoft and EPR systems

Salary: Competitive Salary (£60,000 - £80,000 per annum)
