This is an exciting secondment of 12 months for a Band 3 keen to focus on the housekeeper role within the Community Midwives at Denmark Hill
The post holder will be based in the community midwifery setting and focuses on key aspects of a housekeeping role.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can manage their own workload and diary on a day to day basis.
This MSW role is for those with a keen interest in the housekeeper tasks within the Community Midwifery sites and Children Centre's. The post holder should be able to access ICT databases such as email, Excel, online channels for ordering equipment, audit databases, and supplies.
Main duties of the job
o Liaise with KFM and NHS Supply Chain to ensure clinical stock is ordered and delivered to our main hub
o Liaise with community midwifery porter team to assist in delivering stock to our three hubs and children's centres
o Order stock on a regular basis to ensure appropriate levels throughout the community areas
o Maintain equipment log and database and communicate with midwives to ensure their equipment is regularly serviced and maintained in MEMS

Job responsibilities

Perform monthly audits to ensure Infection Control compliance at the 3 main hubs
Liaise with Team Leaders, Midwives, Support staff, and Community Manager for logistic support
Ensure that the three main hubs are regularly maintained by liaising with the maintenance team and following up on jobs that need to be completed in a timely manner
Checking in on emails and calls whilst at work on site
