Site Manager Wakefield Your New Role Job Purpose Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be required to manage a Ipsum client sites. Principal Accountabilities Working as Principal Contractor Ability to oversee Electrical and mechanical installations Working with and updating the Project Manager Supervision and overseeing the direction of the project, ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress Liaising with the Project manager, client, other construction professionals and, sometimes, members of the public Coordinate and supervise construction personnel Carry out checks on plant and equipment for suitability Carry out safety inspections and ensuring site safety Maintaining quality control procedures Preparing site reports and updating the site safety file Carry out site inductions Fault finding and problem solving Assessing and minimising risk About You Essential Qualifications/Skills/Experience Qualifications Site Management Safety Training Scheme card First Aid at work (or willing to be trained) CSCS manager’s card NRSWA Temporary Works SMSTS Knowledge & Experience Previous site management experience working in utilities sector. Experience with CDM regulations Experience in civil construction Mechanical and Electrical or Construction industry experience Desirable Qualifications/Skills/Experience Exceptional communication skills A strong sense of initiative The ability to build excellent working relationships. Good time management and an ability to plan ahead.
