As a Supply Teacher, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of education when permanent staff are absent. You’ll have the chance to connect with multiple schools in the Wigan area, building relationships with staff and students, and experiencing different school cultures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons across various subjects and year groups.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a productive learning environment.
- Follow lesson plans and adapt as needed to ensure learning objectives are met.
- Provide feedback to regular teaching staff on student engagement and progress.
- Build positive relationships with students and contribute to their development.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience in teaching at primary or secondary levels.
- Strong classroom management skills and adaptability.
- Ability to work flexibly and travel to different schools in the Wigan area.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
