The Job You’ll be Doing;
1. Providing excellent customer service when dealing with customer calls, requests and queries
2. Managing order confirmation processes with customers
3. Liaising with carriers to arrange timely collection of goods
4. Generating all necessary paperwork
5. Maintaining a transport log for arranged shipments
6. Receive, review and evaluate requisitions for materials, suppliers, services and equipment
7. Processing and issuing purchase orders
8. Chasing suppliers for outstanding orders
9. Researching and identifying new products and suppliers, negotiating prices and agreeing contracts
10. Assessing tenders from potential suppliers and liaising with them
11. Matching and coding sales invoices
12. Releasing supplier invoices for payments
