£31,892 to £39,735 (Band 5) - pro rata for part-time
Part time (18.5 hours per week)
Fixed Term until 31 March 2026
Edinburgh/Glasgow - hybrid working will apply for the foreseeable future (all roles require routine travel for in-person meetings, site visits, workshops and events)
Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated, team player who has experience of supporting the delivery of digital projects. The successful candidate will support the Senior Project Officer (NHS Scotland Volunteering Programme) via the delivery of defined projects which are key to the successful implementation of a new Volunteering Management System for NHS Scotland.
Responsibilities
1. Ensure all project documentation is kept up to date.
2. Support the effective management of the lifecycle of the project.
3. Engage and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders including colleagues within Healthcare Improvement Scotland, NHS staff, and volunteers.
Requirements
In addition to the knowledge, training and experience requirements set out within the job description, successful candidates will have:
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Project management skills.
* The ability to work at pace on multiple pieces of work, ensuring that they are delivered on time and to a high standard.
