QUALITY MANAGER

£45,000 – £47,000 DOE – Salary Benefit Scheme, Pension and Holidays

Role Description
1. Establishment and maintenance of the Quality Management Systems and associated regulatory, customer and third-party accreditations
2. Lead the identification of root cause analysis and the implementation of robust corrective actions and control measures
3. Lead on audits for the facility, ensuring that due diligence is undertaken to ensure that we are audit ready and that the site is fully prepared and appraised of any audit dates in advance
4. Liaison with regulators, customers and third parties on any issues which may affect accreditation and product conformance to achieve regulatory, and customer accreditation and satisfaction
5. Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
6. Develop and review specifications for products and processes
7. Oversee all product development procedures to identify any deviations from quality standards
8. Retain accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis
9. Support all functional teams in key areas of shared responsibility including training, continuous improvement, risk, process engineering and process responsibilities/accountabilities
10. Actively participate in contract reviews, assisting with the quality aspects of project management as required to ensure executed success and delivery
Skills and Qualifications
11. Experienced Quality Engineer
12. Knowledge of core tools – Ishikawa / 5WHY / 8D Reporting
13. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes
14. High levels of ISO9001 standards & any further (ISO14001 / 1SO1385 / ISO50001)
15. Utilising Lean Tools and Statistics related tools i.e. Six Sigma
