Fire & Security 3D AutoCAD Designer - Nottingham or Risley Based
Marlowe Fire & Security are the fastest growing fire & security business in the UK. From initial design, supply and installation, through to ongoing maintenance and monitoring, we maintain the capability to help prevent, detect and monitor Fire and Security risks for our customers up and down the country. We are currently looking to appoint a new 3D AutoCAD Designer. This will be an office based role with occasion flexibility for home based working and travel.
Basic Salary – up to £35,000 per annum
Vehicle / Vehicle Allowance – subject to candidate preference £425 per month

Marlowe Fire & Security’s 3D AutoCAD Designers
* Technically engineer the design and as-fitted information through the life of the projects from receipt of order to completion and handover of the larger Marlowe portfolio whilst controlling and planning own works.
* Liaise with key clients to ensure programme deadlines.
* Provide technical expertise to support the installation teams on projects as required.
* Work in Revit 2023 and provide a 3D RVT model.
* Work in ACC environment live with all other consultants – a specific license will be required.
* Publish, share model on a weekly basis – as coordination proceeds.
* Work in Revizto and synchronize the model to the platform on a weekly basis.
* All drawings produced in Revit 3D.
* Model to be updated as CR as would the drawings.
* Model to fulfil COBie requirements as per COBie Delivery Strategy.
* Model to be shared at the end in IFC & RVT format. IFC to follow specific guidelines BYG documents.
* To follow attached documentation, BIM Execution Plan, Project Information Standard, COBie Delivery Strategy, Type, Occurrence & System Nomenclature Codes, Project Information Production Methods & Procedures.
* Attend site meetings as required and liaise with the Designer / Customer on Variations to the design.
* Ensure adherence to Marlowe Quality Process and Procedures and HSE standards.
Who We’re Looking For
* Technical knowledge of Major fire & security systems and projects.
* A minimum of 5 years’ experience in CAD engineering projects across single and multiple site locations.
* Demonstrable technical experience with good interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to travel UK wide as required.
* Full, UK drivers’ licence.
