Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor
Bournemouth / Poole based
Up to £70k + car allowance
My client, a leading M&E Contractor based out of Hampshire with over 40 years' experience, is looking to recruit a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor for projects across Dorset.
What would my day look like?
1. Management of all commercial activities throughout design stage.
2. Assistance with compiling the tender bid for the submission of the AMP (Absolute Maximum Price) construction of the project.
3. Engaging with Sub-Contractors / Suppliers during this phase.
4. Working alongside our design, pre-construction, and estimating team, ensuring commercial coverage.
5. Review and negotiation of the Contract with our Client, with support from the senior management team.
6. Negotiation and Contract placement of the Sub-Contract Agreements with our specialist Sub-Contractors.
7. Preparation and submission of monthly interim valuations to our Client in line with our Contract.
8. Manage, value, and agree variations to the Contract.
9. Carry out the valuation, preparation, and submission of compliant payment notices to our Sub-Contractors in accordance with the Sub-Contract Agreement.
10. Management and agreement of variations with our Sub-Contractors.
11. Agreement of final accounts upstream and downstream.
12. Monthly production and presentation of financial report for the project in line with the company timetable.
13. Review and understanding of programme, ensuring correct contractual notices are issued as required by the Contract.
