Sales Administrator
Location: Leeds
Salary: £13.50 per hour (Temp to Perm)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM (30-minute lunch break)
Our client, a well-established producer of fresh, top-quality sandwiches, wraps, and salads, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join their team. This is an office-based role located in Leeds, LS7, offering an opportunity for the right candidate to transition from a temporary to a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities of Sales Administrator:
1. Sales Support: Provide administrative support to the sales team, including processing orders and handling customer inquiries.
2. Cold Calling: Engage with potential clients through outbound calls to generate new business opportunities and maintain relationships with existing customers.
3. Tender Management: Assist in the preparation and submission of tenders, ensuring all documentation is accurate and submitted on time.
4. Upselling: Identify opportunities to upsell products to existing customers, maximizing sales and revenue.
5. Liaison with Orders Team: Collaborate closely with the orders team to ensure smooth order processing, accurate stock levels, and timely delivery of products.
6. Data Management: Maintain accurate records in Excel, including sales data, customer information, and order details.
7. Attention to Detail: Ensure all sales administration tasks are completed with high accuracy and in a timely manner, adhering to company procedures.
Key Requirements of Sales Administrator:
1. Previous Experience: Experience in a similar sales administrative role is preferred, with a strong understanding of sales processes and customer service.
2. Cold Calling Experience: Comfortable making outbound calls to prospective customers to promote products and generate sales leads.
3. Excel Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
4. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work, especially in preparing tenders and processing orders.
5. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and internal teams.
6. Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
