We are seeking a dedicated individual to take on the role of a Student Behaviour Mentor in November 2024. We are a specialist education site based in Reading, supporting students aged 4-16 years old. The Student Behaviour Mentor position focuses on building trust and rapport, developing independence, and motivating students throughout their education.
Responsibilities:
* Helping students to learn and practice healthy coping mechanisms
* Tracking progress and implementing education plans
* Practicing effective communication skills to resolve conflicts and emotional regulation
* Motivating students to develop independence and engagement with learning material

Benefits:
* £25,000 - £28,000 per annum, permanent position
* 8am-4pm, Monday - Friday, Full Time

Key qualities of a Student Behaviour Mentor are that you are sure of yourself, have an extroverted nature, value trust and relationships, and have patience for those struggling!
Experience supporting children on a personal or professional level is very beneficial but not mandatory. Relevant education or previous experience is welcomed.
