Job Description

As an Executive Chef for our school, you'll support our executive, head, and sous chefs in creating high-quality, innovative meals with attention to detail and creative flair. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Ensuring food production, standards, costs, and menu planning are carried out in a timely fashion, as agreed with the Head Chef;
">
2. Carrying out the smooth and efficient running of the section as appropriate;
">
3. Assisting the Head Chef and sous chef with compiling food orders and developing new food concepts;
">
4. Planning, preparing, cooking, and presenting food to the required standards;
">
5. Evaluating customer satisfaction and ensuring that customers receive prompt and efficient service, exceeding their expectations whenever possible.

Key Qualifications and Skills
">
To succeed in this role, you'll need:

6. NVQ qualification or equivalent;
">
7. Good craft skills background;
">
8. Successful progressive background in catering, preferably in education;
">
9. Food Hygiene Certificate;
">
10. Ability to display a real passion for food and customer service;
">
11. Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to plan ahead and work on own initiative;

12. Good communicator at all levels.
