We are currently recruiting for a Senior Finance Administrator based in Bedford for one of our clients on a permanent basis. Our client is a local Educational trust and they are looking for someone to support the Finance Manager during term time only.
Responsibilities of the Senior Finance Administrator
Prepare, code and raise invoices.
Complete month-end processes including bank and petty cash reconciliations.
VAT Returns.
Salary and cash-book journals.
Resolve invoice queries and chase debts.
Supplier statements.
Process expenses.
Create reports and assist the Finance Manager with the annual budget setting process.
Assist the Finance Manager with audits.
Requirements for a successful Senior Finance Administrator
AAT qualified or working towards.
Demonstrable Finance Administration experience.
Experience working within a school would be advantageous.
Strong IT skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail.
