Overview
Options Resourcing Ltd are actively recruiting for three experienced Roofers to assist on a current project which is underway on a new retail park in Tewkesbury.
Duties
* Install roofing materials such as shingles, tiles, and metal sheets according to specifications
* Ensure roofs are watertight by applying appropriate sealing techniques
* Conduct inspections of roofs to identify potential issues or areas needing repair
* Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete roofing tasks
* Fabricate roofing components as required for specific projects
* Work with masonry materials when necessary for roof installations or repairs
* Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters, to ensure quality workmanship
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
Requirements
1. Proven experience in roofing or a related field is essential
2. Valid CSCS Blue Card (NVQ Level 2 Concrete & Slating)
3. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with roofing work
4. Proficiency in using hand tools (e.g., hammers, chisels) and power tools (e.g., drills, saws)
