Robert Half are excited to be working with an industry leading organisation to recruit an Accounts Assistant position, based full-time in office, in Monmouth.
They are offering a very competitive: base salary up to £26,500 initially + flexible start and finish times + onsite parking.
Summary of the Role:
The Accounts Assistant is responsible for assisting the Accountant and the Head of Finance in the efficient operation of the organisations finances
Main duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Billing:
1. Cash management of billing receipts and billing payments to include regular processing of Direct Debits and banking.
2. Review and control of Fee Debtors, reporting on a regular basis to senior staff
Payroll:
3. Provide assistance and cover for the preparation and processing of monthly salaries.
4. Assist in the preparation and processing of monthly tax and pension returns and the efficient maintenance and retention of appropriate payroll and pensions records.
5. Processing and costing of staff expenses claims.
Additional duties include:
6. Assisting the Accountant in the administration of all aspects of the Group's day to day accounting and payroll responsibilities
7. Provide general support and cover for other posts in the Finance Team
8. Liaise with other departments in the organisation to ensure completeness and correctness of all information and activities.
9. Carry out such general administration duties as specified by the Head of Finance and/or the Financial Accountant
Salary - currently £26,598 with increase salary range pending
