Do you have care experience and transport and, ideally, live in the Lochmaben, Locharbriggs, Amisfield area?
Are you able to help support an old lady with dementia, who lives with her family in a country location, to get up mid-morning, shower, dress and get settled for the day?
Rosemary speaks very little and is largely reclusive, but will smile and answer simple questions and manage greetings and farewels once she is comfortable around you. She is aware of what is going on around her.
Rosemary is most relaxed when following her own routine, as this makes her feel secire and likes life best when everything is familiar, predictable and goes to plan.
Requirements:
1. £12.50 per hour
2. Up to 14 hours per week including weekends (10 am 12 noon)
3. Health and Social Care Experience ideally with Personal Care
4. Experience with the elderly an advantage but not essential
5. Own Transport required due to rural location
6. Job Share considered, would fit in with the school run
7. This post is subject to a satisfactory PVG check
