Therole of Professions BDM within the Asset Finance team at SFS is to identify,acquire, develop, and manage profitable new business predominately with Brokerand direct customers within the Professions market. This is a pro-active newbusiness role with success achieved via development of new relationships,alongside managing of existing Brokers within the channel.

Thisis a remote role with frequent UK travel required to support a network ofnational relationships.
You’llcreate impact by:
·Develop new relationships with Brokers and directto end customer in the Professions markets
·Nurture and build existing relationships with thesector
·Pro-actively generatenew leads through various channels including client visits, outbound calling,emailing, utilising various social media platforms, personal network, attendanceof trade shows etc
·Research, create and follow up a target list forpotential new business. Consistentlycanvass territory making customer calls and visits to discuss financingrequirements, where applicable be able to sell the benefits of leasing.
·Work closely and withdirection of the Sales Manager and support of Internal Sales team to generatenew business growth whilst controlling risks.
·Conduct sales meetings with existing and prospectivenew clients
·Responsible for thedelivery of sales and product training within territory to drive greaterproduct knowledge and product penetration across the core product types andsystems
·Identify opportunities to re-engageexisting customers where business levels have dropped off.
·Achieve budgeted salestargets inline with goals and strategy
·Active approach to developing and supportingcompany digital strategy, including use of front end portals and API bycustomers and sales CRM system.
You’llbuild on your existing expertise, including:
·Sound commercial understanding and awareness ofthe financing industry gained within the asset and loan finance and/or similarequipment related environment. Full knowledge of the financial productsrequired for funding in the Professions sectors including leases, HPs
·Self-starter – highly motivated & resultsdriven
·Visible and proactive digital presence to leveragesocial selling
·Broad experience of working in a new business role
·Good understanding in Professions sector
·Able to communicate complex and technical issuesclearly and succinctly.
·Confidence negotiating with senior stakeholdersboth internally and externally
·Key understanding of sales processes and customerbehaviours
·Consistent track record in client engagement,pipeline building, opportunity qualification, deal management, business casegeneration, deal closure & handover
