Are you a time-served Site Manager with a passion for Health & Safety, looking to make a change? Do you have a solid foundation of Health & Safety experience whilst understanding the mechanics of a site and how a project is delivered? I've partnered with a leading residential developer looking to add a Health, Safety and Environmental trainer. If you enjoy developing the workforce around you and passing on invaluable knowledge and skills, this could be the role for you.
Key competencies include:
1. Delivery of internal SHE related training courses
2. Review and update of CITB and internal training courses to keep in line with any legislation updates
3. Delivering most courses online, allowing agile working although with occasional UK travel
4. Delivering a suite of internal bespoke training courses including traffic management, on-boarding for build teams and general safety awareness
5. Delivery of CITB Accredited training including SMSTS, SSSTS
This is a brand-new role and an excellent opportunity to really make an impact. Don't be concerned about being CITB-accredited from the off; the construction background is the most crucial facet of this role. Key criteria they are looking for is:
1. A team player who is confident, approachable, and forward-thinking
2. Level 3 (or higher) Award in Education and Training (PTLLS) (DESIRABLE)
3. A background in Construction Site Management or similar (ESSENTIAL)
4. NEBOSH Construction-qualified (PREFERABLE)
5. NEBOSH-qualified (ESSENTIAL)
6. Excellent communication, people, IT, and written skills
The role offers full agile working, with 80/90% from home, easing the pain of long travel or commutes. Due to the nature of the role, any location of candidate will be considered.
You will earn a very competitive salary of between £40-50,000 plus car/car allowance, bonus, and package.
