Job summary
We have an opportunity for a suitably qualified NMC Nurse to join ourestablished Nursing and HCA team here at Bingley Medical Practice.
You will work as part of our friendlymulti-disciplinary team engaging in a variety of roles, primarily based aroundcore General Practice nursing.
Ideally, we are looking for an independentNon-Medical Prescriber with experience in Long Term Conditions.
Main duties of the job
Working hours up to full time
Training will be provided if needed to up-skill in key areas
GP support to the entire nursing team is provided via the duty Doctor and dedicated GP Partner lead
6 weeks annual leave plus 1 week study leave (pro-rata)

Job responsibilities
Mainresponsibilities and being part of the team delivering on:
Implementingand evaluating individual evidence-based treatment plans for patients with LongTerm Conditions and supporting achievement of QOF
Vaccinationand immunisation programmes for adults and children
Immunisations(routine, childhood and travel)
Travel advice& vaccination (desired but not essential)
Wound care,dressings and suture removal
Ear syringing
Womenshealth (cervical cytology, contraception and sexual health screening)
Healthpromotion
Responsiblefor own revalidation & support NMC revalidation for fellow registrants
Mentor,support and develop nursing team in conjunction with our management and widerclinical team to maintain high levels of patient care
Support LeadNurse to update nursing protocols and attend mandatory training to ensure CQCcompliance
Continuallyreview clinical practices (including audits), responding to national policiesand initiatives where appropriate
To attendPractice MDT clinical meeting as required and nurse team meeting
